My friends call me Rick. I’m over 60, hence Rickety, meaning “Feeble in the joints; imperfect; weak; shaky” rather than one “affected with rickets.”
Born in England I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as an adult. I emigrated in 1980 to Utah, marrying a beautiful woman from Brigham City in the Ogden Temple. We have five children and six grandchildren.

The family photograph (click to enlarge) is from Paul and Megan’s wedding reception in Driggs, Idaho in August 2011. Five of our children are married: Steven (Adelaide), Sarah (Derek), Paul (Megan), Jake (Rachel), and Dan (Shalese). Here are our 2006, 2008, and 2010 family photographs.
My three oldest boys work as Computer Scientists/Engineers and the youngest is ending his university studies in Computer Engineering. My daughter raising her family. The boys are all Eagle Scouts and served missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in California, Chile, Mexico, and Mongolia/Washington.
